Working Actor

FBI Agent, Lian Castillo, Wrong Guys

I feel so.. Legit. I feel Official. I feel like a real Actor. It’s definitely been a long road and I still have an interesting journey ahead. Sometimes, when being challenged you want to know you’re progressing. You want to know if you’re doing the right thing. I’ve always known I was going to be in the entertainment business, but when you actually start working for it… the realities set in. You run out of money. You haven’t booked anything. You are not …In. Well, I finally feel like I’m in. and I am. I am now a “legit” actor… I am becoming a member of the Screen Actors Guild. This new project has got me into this union that I have always wanted to be part of. I have been working for it for a long time. Finally, I’m a SAG Actor! I played a FBI agent on this new Series, that should premiere sometime in the summer. It was nice to feel like a working actor and It was just another step on this gigantic staircase I’m going to climb. The role was entertaining to play & I played alongside a great friend of mine, Brian Dobski. (Body of Proof) Friends in “Hollyweird” are sometimes very “weird” when it comes to the business. Everyone is trying to get ahead and everyone is trying to do the same thing. So therefore, it can get very… awkward. I am a true believer in karma, so I believe if you put “good” out there… it will come back to you. Pay it forward and I can say, My friends do. It’s nice to have some people on your side, rooting for you, and trying to help you out if they can. I even worked with someone who is in “The Academy.” SO, this whole experience has been very fun for me and reassuring that if you truly love what you do, then never stop working for it. It will happen. Well, my insatiable appetite for this Career is alive and ready. I want it all.
