HBO Sunday.

The day I’ve been waiting for is finally here: the Debut of Episode 2, Going to Town, for Camping, the HBO show I have a Co-Star on! I admit, I saw the episode on the big screen already at Paramount, so I knew what to expect. Obviously, not everything made it, some was left on the cutting room floor. Editing can go any way. I’m just grateful to be featured on such a high platform with incredible talent. We did so much improv, not much made the actual episode, but everyone is enjoying my Cameo on this unorthodox Comedy. My favorite part? My name on the credits at the end. Now that gave me FEELS. David Tennant & Jennifer Garner are everything on & off screen. Happy October!

Entertainment Host

The Lowdown with Lian became practice for a new destiny… an introduction to something I’ve always had a passion for, Hosting my own show on Pop Culture. The Lowdown was short, never went viral, but it was enough to get some attention. I conquered DragCon and also landed myself an Entertainment Host position at AfterBuzz TV! Full panel after show on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County. Hosting is a passion of mine because it allows me to showcase myself and the passion that I have for Pop Culture. I’m super excited about this new creative endeavor and I couldn’t be happier. Make sure to Follow me on the social media platforms for all clips, photos, and live video stories. @HOLLYWOOODLIAN

JUMP!

SO, I jumped… I put myself out there. Made a YouTube video announcing I would be doing a weekly episode recap show called THE LOWDOWN WITH LIAN. Received complimentary feedback by very unexpected but professional entertainment colleagues. So, it’s exciting in general. Excited to throw myself in the line of fire, excited to showcase myself, and excited to show that after being in a “dry spell” for a good minute, anyone can brush themselves off and TRY AGAIN.

NYC for the Holidays

Before I can talk about the new year, I gotta talk about the ending of this past year. Lemme just say… 2016 was ROUGH. So, I was happy to spending some time in the Big Apple for the holidays, it’s the most wonderful time of the year. I went to Rockefeller Center, saw Mariah‘s Christmas show @ The Beacon. I met some people who gave me hope for the upcoming year. Inspiring/Life Changing Conversations. Plans. Universal Shifting. I really want to dedicate myself to making this year the best. THE BEST EVERYTHING. NYC, I’ll be seeing you a couple times during 2017. Thanks for the drinks.

Blonde Ambition

Yes, I’m a now a Blonde. (for now) I’m also a new puppy father. Her name is Fiona and she is a Mini Schnauzer- the last couple months raising her have been amazing.  She is now 4 months! Thinking of creating a dog show/web thing featuring both of us. I mean, look at us! Either way, this blonde ambition has some new looks to show off around the town. Thinking of doing some head-shots with this blonde! I mean, I gotta do something already. Tell me what you think!

Cinespia

Bucket List check off…. I finally did Cinespia! I loved it! Cinespia is a movie watching event that is located at the Hollywood Cementary under the stars! (Literally) It was a pretty magical LA night… we saw E.T. (Extra Terrestrial)  ate some candy and we sat next to Ethan Embry. It’s pretty crowded because people because show up very early to snag a great spot but it’s super worth it and the line moves fairly quickly. Overall, it’s a great mix of good-looking young people and modern families. The photo booth is pretty special….they always go all out so make sure to get a photo! (there’s always a line) Watching such a great movie under the hollywood stars was a great experience… loved hearing the audience react to the film and even credits… making it very clear, it’s a Los Angeles Audience: filled with people who make movies, star in them, shoot them, edit them, score them, rate them, and so on… love this town, love my home. I love LA.

Hoverboarding in Hollywood

1512819_10153736351366435_6959488031740094372_n

Well, I haven’t actually hovered over to an audition on my hoverboard…. it would probably be the most annoying thing a casting director has ever seen. But I do have one, mostly because of the connections in this huge spiderweb of relationships we call LA. They are quickly becoming popular, Vanity Fair called them the “new Hummer” & they have been in the media thanks to celebs like Wiz Khalifa who got tackled to the floor at LAX for refusing to get off his hoverboard. The kids are envious on Vine; making them very high in demand. Be prepared to spend a pretty penny! (Retail $950.00) Or just be a D list celeb/viner/actor who has done 1 co-star and they might send you one to promote on your Instagram. I will be adding this new talent of mine to my special skills section on my resume. Considering even starting a new project with it….

Back again collaborating with the Bond Twins, Lauren & Jennifer! I always have such a great time filming with them, it’s easy when you’re having a great time. First time working with Director/Actor Geo Santini, who happen to be my co-star in our scenes. Geo is hilarious on camera and off; taking risks and putting himself out there. The experience shooting at YouTube Space Headquarters LA center was not just a pleasure, but it was overwhelmingly impressive. Great day on set.

Robin Williams.

For the world, we lost a brilliant Actor who entertained us. For the industry… we lost a peer. Robin Williams was one of my comedic heroes. His performances were inspiring. His characters are some of Hollywood’s most memorable. Sometimes, inspiration is needed, especially when the business gets to you. We don’t know what Robin was going through, but we lost him. It’s eye-opening… it is just a reminder that it’s not easy. Show business life can be filled with incredible highs and devastating lows. It can beat you down. Let’s hang in there and take care of each other. We could use a little for compassion in our daily lives. We love you. Robin. See you on the other side.
