Entertainment Host

The Lowdown with Lian became practice for a new destiny… an introduction to something I’ve always had a passion for, Hosting my own show on Pop Culture. The Lowdown was short, never went viral, but it was enough to get some attention. I conquered DragCon and also landed myself an Entertainment Host position at AfterBuzz TV! Full panel after show on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County. Hosting is a passion of mine because it allows me to showcase myself and the passion that I have for Pop Culture. I’m super excited about this new creative endeavor and I couldn’t be happier. Make sure to Follow me on the social media platforms for all clips, photos, and live video stories. @HOLLYWOOODLIAN

NYC for the Holidays

Before I can talk about the new year, I gotta talk about the ending of this past year. Lemme just say… 2016 was ROUGH. So, I was happy to spending some time in the Big Apple for the holidays, it’s the most wonderful time of the year. I went to Rockefeller Center, saw Mariah‘s Christmas show @ The Beacon. I met some people who gave me hope for the upcoming year. Inspiring/Life Changing Conversations. Plans. Universal Shifting. I really want to dedicate myself to making this year the best. THE BEST EVERYTHING. NYC, I’ll be seeing you a couple times during 2017. Thanks for the drinks.

Bravo & Beverly Hills

Look, I love the show and I hope Andy will have me one day me on WWHL ! Where I will make him laugh, tell him my love for the housewives, and ask him for my my own personal reality show on BRAVO. For now, I can run into Kyle Richards, eat tacos with her, and talk to her about my teeth. Which she did compliment. When you live in LA, when you are an Actor, you get invited to things.. so you meet people. Kyle was lovely and very down to earth. I’m sure I’ll see her again.

The Dream Team.

Another big booking! My dream team is happy and doing great, I’ve been booking, so overall, the career is going great. I love when you book something on a big scale, makes everyone happy and keeps us focused on getting to the next level. Had a great time shooting with this director and working for this brand. Can’t wait for it to air so I can talk about it more! For now, just know it was so fun and I got to have my own trailer. Which is perfect for phone charging purposes, memorizing lines and practicing without looking schizophrenic. WHICH ALL ACTORS CAN RELATE TO! So many times, I’ve been caught practicing some dramatic piece in my car. I’m sure it looks amusing. It’s all about the small things in life…. like great craft service and great wardrobe styling.

Music is Life.

Sometimes, you leave LA… you need to. A time for reflection, musical abundance, and being in the desert! No, it’s not burning man. Not my thing. (yet) It’s COACHELLA! A beautiful worldly famous musical festival in the deserts of Palm Springs- Coachella, CA.

Drove up at 3am, a day late (I was shooting, filming all day friday) ready to experience an amazing weekend. Definitely will be returning next year. So much fun, so much love, and a lot of gratitude. The nights under the stars make you appreciate whats happening in your life and makes you want to work harder. Everything is going great and ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN.

One Chip, No Dip

Just like that, I booked another job! I was recently cast as the new Face of Dorito’s for the Dorito’s Crash The Super-Bowl Commercial Contest. Hands down, one of the best jobs I’ve ever had. My first commercial job as the main Principle Actor as well. I learned that there is an underlining pressure that comes with that title. As the entire production is based around you. You are the one that everyone is here for. You are the one that has to deliver. You are the one that holds the life of the commercial in your hands. You are the Star. And that’s exactly how it should be. I was so excited to have this chance to really be myself, bring some comedic lightness to it, and really represent the brand in a creative and original way. Also, we shot this production in Tom Jones’ residence which is always a plus. You can always count on Hollywood to always remind you of the greatness and history that has resided in this wicked little town. So, enjoy it, laugh, give it 5 stars and share it! It’s a contest, so RATE IT!!!! 5 STARS!

Sometimes, We must stop. We must stop… to think. To re-evaluate & re-plan: I want to have landmarks in my life. I believe we must be specific when we ask the universe what we want.

Yes, we see us (as actors) shooting for the stars… which is good, but let’s enjoy the journey getting there and part of that journey is making sure you are on the right path. Making sure you are doing the right things that are going to get you there.

I recently went camping and spent some time without cell reception… just to think and to question. We look for things in our lives to blame; but the truth is… you just have to hold yourself accountable. WHY AM I NOT THERE YET? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

I think those are the questions actors ask themselves all the time… especially here, living in Los Angeles. Everyone has their moments, but if you are one of those that are in it for the long haul then we must just stop and re-plan and start over because no one is going to notice if you quit. Trust me, no one will care. So… it’s really up to you.

I will not BE just another actor. Another lost soul in this city. I know what I want and I’m giving myself goals and deadlines. Let’s shoot for the stars, but also… shoot for short-term goals because they seem to be more realistic in a sense… because trust me, it takes time. There is no such thing as an over-night sensation…. it rarely happens, and even when it does… it doesn’t last, so make sure you know your product and how it should be delivered to the world.

Anyone can have an agent. Anyone can get a manager. Anyone can give you a break if you sell…your soul. BUT if you know your worth… know your talent then don’t settle…

That’s where I am.

Cloud Nine… Yea, that’s where I am. I wrote a script, hired a director, produced and starred in my own series today. First episode! It was so much fun, I love being able to see and have active participation in my work…..coming to life. It’s a whole different high than just being an actor on someone’s set. I just love being on camera… and I love what I do. Nadine, my Czechoslovakian/Scottish Model Co-Star… was saying she wasn’t even nervous, she was just really hoping to do “justice” to my script. Loved working with her, she was so easy to work with and such a fun energy to be around. She gave me the best compliments. This is just the beginning of many scenes that make up this mini series I wrote about growing up being… well, …me. I put it out there for the world to see… judge… criticize. That’s what I signed up for. I just want to have the lengthy respectable career, I’m over the shortcut. I’m over the fifteen minutes. I’m working my ass off and will continue to. I love going to acting class! It makes me a better actor and person, because I respect the other actor’s work now. Little things make me happy…. like just being a credited Actor. An actor with GREAT representation. An actor that takes his career into his own hands. This is what I’ve wanted. It’s only a matter of time. Life is really what you want it to be. When you move forward, life will follow you. When we are left behind is when we feel defeated and alone. There is so no time like the present! DO MORE ACTION! People spend too much waiting…. waiting to be skinny, waiting to famous, waiting to be discovered. Take it into your own hands. I want to show the world what I can do. I already have people talking, people judging and criticizing… I think that’s a good sign. Don’t you think?

ShowBizz- A Photo Blog.

I love this picture… We had been dancing for a good couple hours.. this was a scene for Step Up 3D. I was sitting on the floor… take a quick break when i snapped this photo.

When you come from the stage.. there is no “faking it” … you can’t fake the stage! This is me in ” 42nd St.”

My first Job EVER in Hollywood….I played an “orderly” on Miami Medical.. which was canceled after 8 episodes.. so I never got to see my scene. Thanks Hollywood.

On the set of CSI… this was a stunt scene… explosions and gunshots! I guess that guitar is suppose make it look like we were in Mexico.

From the set of Larry Crowne, Classroom scene with George Decay and Tom Hanks. This picture was taken by Tom Hanks! This is from his twitter account.

My 80’s Outfit wardrobe gave me for a small scene in “Just Go With It” … with Adam Sandler & Jennifer Aniston.

Principal Dancer for The Will Rogers Follies, A life in Revue.
